About us
A Malian NGO founded in Timbuktu, close to the communities of the Sahel.
Who we are
The Association pour le Développement des Initiatives Locales au Mali (Association for the Development of Local Initiatives in Mali) is a national NGO founded in Timbuktu in 2012.
It was born from the conviction that the most lasting solutions come from communities themselves. ADIL-MALI supports villages, women’s groups, young people, herders and farmers, as well as local authorities.
Its framework agreement with the State allows it to work throughout the country. It focuses on the areas of greatest need: northern Mali, areas affected by climate change and sites hosting displaced people.
